Ahhh..what a great week!

Cuba was wonderful! The hotel was great - beautiful beach - ocean view room with balcony - nothing but sun sun sun for 7 straight days. Granted - the food was a tad bland - but they try and it's Cuba and it's all inclusive and we made out just fine!

The hotel had lots to do - besides the gorgeous stretch of white sand beach - over 26 kms stretching from our hotel to the northeast....there was also a great pool, hobie cats, kayaks, pedal boats, basketball courts, soccer field, ping pong and pool tables.

There were at least 5 different bars throughout the hotel - a buffet restaurant - 2 a la cartes - a beach grill and another grill closer to the pool - 24 hour food and drinks. we did a lot of early morning walks along the beach and it was so peaceful.

While we love cuba and had a great vacation - we want to explore some other islands. this was my 6th trip to cuba and rich's 2nd. Next island getaway will hopefully be Barbados. May have to wait for 2010 for that one though!
